Blue-Golden Flash Labradorite Snake | 263 GM | Collector’s Piece

₹12,560.00

A spectacular Natural Labradorite Snake Carving with extraordinary blue-golden labradorescence running across its beautifully sculpted body. Intense flashes of electric blue and warm gold appear across the polished surface as the carving moves under light, revealing different colours and patterns from different angles.

Measuring approximately 14 CM in length × 9 CM in width × 3.4 CM in height and weighing 263 GM, this is a substantial crystal sculpture with a strong, fluid snake form. The body curves naturally through an elegant coiled composition, while the polished Labradorite exposes layers of natural internal lines, textures and colour.

With its combination of exceptional flash, intricate carving, organic movement and collector-scale presence, this is a standout piece for a serious crystal collection, meditation space, office, study or statement display.

A Mesmerising Labradorite Snake

This piece brings together two things that are individually striking: highly expressive Labradorite and an intricate snake carving.

The Labradorite itself is full of natural internal structures that become dramatically visible when light reaches the correct angles. Across the snake’s body, the surface shifts between deep blue, bright electric blue, silvery blue and rich golden-yellow, with some areas becoming intensely luminous while others return to a darker grey-blue base.

The flash is not concentrated in one small section. It travels across different parts of the body, making the carving particularly rewarding to rotate and view from different directions.

The snake’s form has been sculpted with a smooth, flowing curve, creating a sense of movement even while the piece remains completely still. The head, looping body and coiled sections give it a strong silhouette, while the substantial width allows the Labradorite’s natural internal character to remain visible across the sculpture.

The result is not simply a snake-shaped ornament. It is a large, highly decorative natural Labradorite sculpture where the carving and the mineral work together.

The Natural Beauty of Labradorite

Labradorite belongs to the plagioclase feldspar series, with a composition broadly represented as (Ca,Na)[Al(Al,Si)Si₂O₈]. It is typically grey, grey-green or grey-white in body colour, but may display striking iridescent colours known as labradorescence.

The flash occurs because of microscopic internal lamellae within the feldspar. When light reaches these structures at suitable angles, it can return intense colours including blue, gold, green, yellow, purple and other iridescent tones.

This particular carving is especially attractive because its long curved body creates a large area for that optical effect to appear. As the light changes or the sculpture is rotated, the balance between blue and gold shifts naturally across the snake.

Labradorite also has perfect cleavage, which means a substantial carved piece such as this should be handled with care even though the material has a respectable hardness of approximately 6–6.5 Mohs.

Traditional Labradorite Benefits

Labradorite is traditionally regarded as a stone for transformation, intuition, protection and personal resilience.

Transformation & New Beginnings

The most important practical theme of Labradorite is change.

It is traditionally chosen during periods such as:

  • changing careers
  • moving to a new place
  • starting or ending a relationship
  • developing a new identity
  • changing long-standing habits
  • entering a new stage of life

Its symbolism is about adapting to change without losing your sense of self.

Intuition & Better Judgement

Labradorite is traditionally used to strengthen intuition and awareness, particularly when a situation contains information that is not immediately obvious.

In everyday life, this can translate into taking a moment to:

notice patterns,

listen to your instincts,

look beyond the first impression,

and make a more considered decision.

Protection & Boundaries

One of Labradorite’s strongest traditional associations is protection. Crystal practices often use it for maintaining energetic boundaries and avoiding becoming overly affected by other people’s emotions or environments.

This is especially relevant for people who want to:

  • protect their personal space
  • avoid absorbing every stressful interaction
  • maintain emotional distance when necessary
  • stay focused around distracting environments
  • become more comfortable saying no

Breaking Unhelpful Patterns

Traditional Labradorite practice also connects the stone with recognising and changing repetitive patterns. This can be especially meaningful when you notice yourself repeatedly making the same choices or responding to similar situations in the same way.

The emphasis is on recognising the pattern first, then choosing a different response.

Mental Clarity

Labradorite is traditionally used to bring together intuition and logical thinking, helping a person consider both what they observe and what they instinctively feel about a situation.

This makes it useful symbolically for:

  • decision-making
  • problem-solving
  • self-reflection
  • planning
  • understanding complicated situations

Confidence & Inner Strength

Traditional Labradorite practices also associate the stone with inner worth, perseverance and personal strength, especially when navigating unfamiliar circumstances.

It is particularly meaningful when you are trying to remain confident while your surroundings or circumstances are changing.

Creativity & Imagination

Labradorite is also traditionally associated with imagination, creativity and new perspectives.

It can therefore be a meaningful addition to a workspace used for writing, design, art, brainstorming or other creative work.

The Snake: Symbolism of Transformation & Wisdom

The snake adds a powerful symbolic dimension to the Labradorite.

Because snakes periodically shed their outer skin, snake imagery has long been used as a symbol of transformation, renewal, rebirth and leaving behind what has been outgrown. Snake symbolism also varies widely across cultures and can include wisdom, protection, healing, instinct and spiritual power.

For a crystal sculpture, the snake can represent:

Transformation

Leaving behind an outdated habit, identity or phase of life.

Renewal

Beginning again with greater experience and awareness.

Wisdom

Learning from previous experiences rather than repeating them.

Intuition

Trusting observation and instinct when making decisions.

Protection

The snake’s defensive symbolism can represent maintaining boundaries and protecting what matters.

Adaptability

Moving around obstacles rather than becoming completely blocked by them.

Combined with Labradorite’s traditional symbolism, the carving creates a particularly coherent theme of change + intuition + protection + personal growth.

Chakra Associations

Labradorite is commonly associated in contemporary crystal practice with the Third Eye, Crown and Throat Chakras.

Third Eye Chakra — Intuition, Awareness & Perception

This is one of Labradorite’s strongest traditional associations.

The Third Eye is traditionally linked with intuition, observation, insight and recognising patterns.

Labradorite is used in this context for:

  • understanding situations more deeply
  • recognising repeated patterns
  • making thoughtful decisions
  • trusting considered intuition
  • improving self-awareness
  • developing a clearer sense of direction

Crown Chakra — Higher Awareness & Perspective

The Crown Chakra is traditionally associated with meditation, reflection, spiritual awareness and broader perspective.

Labradorite is commonly used in meditation when the intention is to move beyond immediate reactions and consider a situation from a wider point of view.

Throat Chakra — Expression & Authenticity

Labradorite is also used with the Throat Chakra in some crystal systems, particularly around authentic communication and expressing what you genuinely think or feel.

This creates a useful traditional progression:

Understand what you see → trust your judgement → express yourself honestly.

Traditional Body & Organ Associations

Traditional crystal-healing sources associate Labradorite with several physical areas, particularly the brain, eyes, lungs, digestive system and metabolism. These associations are part of lithotherapy traditions and are not scientifically established medical effects.

Brain & Mental Function

Labradorite is traditionally associated with the brain and mental acuity, particularly around concentration, awareness and organising information.

Eyes & Vision

The eyes are a common traditional association, fitting Labradorite’s broader symbolism of perception and seeing beyond the obvious.

Lungs & Respiratory System

Traditional Labradorite practices include associations with the lungs and respiratory system.

Digestion

Some traditional systems connect Labradorite with the digestive system, including the stomach and intestinal tract.

Metabolism

Labradorite is also traditionally associated with metabolism and regulation of bodily processes.

Skin

Some traditional crystal-healing references also include the skin among Labradorite’s physical correspondences.

Nervous & Stress-Related Balance

Traditional practices also connect Labradorite with mental and emotional stress, particularly through its associations with the nervous system, clarity and calming an overactive mind.

These are traditional crystal-healing and lithotherapy correspondences only and should not be interpreted as medical treatment.

Where to Display This Labradorite Snake

This is large enough and visually strong enough to function as an actual decorative sculpture, not merely a small crystal accent.

Entrance or Console

The snake’s symbolism of protection and boundaries makes it particularly appropriate near an entrance or transitional area.

Office

Place it where you work when you want a visual reminder of adaptability, clear thinking and staying focused through change.

Study or Creative Space

The Third Eye and creativity associations make Labradorite especially suitable for spaces used for writing, design, research, studying and brainstorming.

Meditation Area

The long curved body provides a natural visual focal point for meditation, reflection and intention-setting.

Collector Display

With its size, extensive flash and detailed carving, it works particularly well as a central piece within a collection of statement crystal carvings.

Why This Is a Collector’s Piece

The strongest feature is the quality and distribution of the flash across a large carved surface.

A small Labradorite cabochon may show one concentrated flash. Here, the snake’s 14 CM-long body provides a much larger canvas, allowing blue and gold to appear across multiple curves and sections of the carving.

The darker body also gives the iridescence a strong backdrop, making the flashes appear much more dramatic. From different angles, the stone can shift from predominantly blue to blue-gold, silvery-blue and warm golden tones.

Then there is the carving itself: the elongated body, curved posture and coiled structure create a sculpture that remains interesting even when the flash is not directly facing the light.

It therefore has both sides that collectors look for in a display specimen: strong natural mineral character and an interesting sculptural form.

Care Guide

Labradorite has a hardness of approximately 6–6.5 Mohs but also has perfect cleavage, so sharp impacts can cause damage even though the stone is reasonably resistant to everyday scratching.

Because this is a carved sculpture with narrower sections around the snake’s curves, handle it carefully and support the body with both hands when moving it.

For cleaning, use a soft microfiber cloth. A small amount of water can be used when necessary, followed by thorough drying.

Avoid:

  • dropping or striking the carving
  • abrasive cleaners or rough brushes
  • harsh chemicals
  • prolonged soaking
  • salt water
  • steam cleaning
  • ultrasonic cleaning
  • placing it where it can easily be knocked from a shelf

Store it away from harder minerals and objects that could scratch the polished surface.
