Stone & Material
Crafted from Moroccan Selenite (commonly the satin spar variety of gypsum), recognised for its fibrous internal formation. These tightly packed natural fibres create the stone’s signature silky sheen and subtle “cat’s eye” effect (chatoyancy), where light moves across the surface in a soft band.
Unlike glass-clear crystals, this material often shows internal striations, inclusions, and natural fractures, which are not flaws but a direct result of its layered formation. These features enhance how it diffuses light, giving it a soft, glowing, almost moonlit appearance
